Newcastle Disease: Also known as Ranikhet disease, Newcastle Disease is a viral infection that affects poultry, especially chickens. It can cause respiratory distress, nervous system disorders, and high mortality rates. The disease is highly contagious and can spread rapidly among birds.

Avian influenza (AI), commonly known as bird flu, is another significant concern in poultry health. AI viruses can be classified into two types: low pathogenic avian influenza (LPAI) and highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI). LPAI strains generally cause mild or no illness in birds. On the other hand, HPAI strains can result in severe disease with high mortality rates in poultry.
